Keilor Council meets with Cr Easton welcoming Dr Dobson of Braybrook upon Braybrook’s elevation to the City of Sunshine. The council keeps a general rate at 2 shillings 6 pence and increases the pay charge to 3 pounds 15 shillings 4 pence. Plans include land purchase for corner rounding, permits for housing and shops, a new Shire Hall study, a power grader tender, and a St Albans telephone exchange proposal plus a ten pound grant to the St Albans Tennis Club.

Obituary: Alexander Sandy Nichol of Braybrook
Alexander Sandy Nichol of Ballarat Road Braybrook died December 2 after forty years in the district. He is survived by two sons and a daughter. his wife and two daughters predeceased him. The funeral was held at Coburg Cemetery on Tuesday.
