The Sunshine Football Club hosts a Sunday December 16 picnic at Warrandyl with a day of novel events and trophy presentations. Ernest John McWonail of Euron faced a charge after a horse left on St Albans Road near Albion station collided with greengrocer F. J. McCreery’s car causing extensive damage. The horse was killed on site. McWonail fined £2 in default seven days jail. The same night thieves breached the Derrimut Hotel yard, stealing about £6 worth of small change in a separate incident.

The Deer Park Sports committee postponed the event to Saturday December 16 to avoid a clash with Heidelberg fixtures.
