Footscray Philatelic Society Meets in August Gathering
The Footscray Philatelic Society held its August 5 meeting at Paisley Street Baptist Hall with strong attendance. Exchange sheets circulated and sales were solid as the group plans about three new books for the circuit. Sunshine’s Mr Ashton showcased USA stamps in a fine two-volume display, drawing applause. Mr Owen will present the next exhibit on September 2 at Visitor Hall.
