Garage Application Refused in Ballarat by Sunshine Council
Ballarat Maidstone was refused by Sunshine Council on Monday after council members warmed to the idea that the corner is unsuitable for a service station. Dr Dobson argued the decision protects public safety and aligns with Melbourne’s master plan to widen Ballarat Road north of Ashley Street by 66 feet. The council noted previous refusals of similar service station proposals on Rosamond Road.
