A Sunshine and Footscray deputation urged the Minister of Public Works to grant approval for a new tramway board bus service from Sunshine to Melbourne. Man Escapes Gaol For Street Betting

Obituary of Ern Mounsey founder of Sunshine LOL line

Ern Mounsey longtime Sunshine resident dies after a long illness at his Sydney Street home. Born in Clones he moved to Sunshine Street years ago and was a gardener at Sunshine Gardens and FH W McKay before joining Nobels Deer Park. He engaged in local groups including Sunshine Horticultural Society Albion School Committee MULO CFL and LOIV Lodges and served with St Johns Ambulance Brigades and Sunshine football clubs. Funeral at Fawkner Crematorium featured a line of honor formed by the Intermediate Sunshine LOL brethren he founded.
