LC I Defeats LCL In Opening Railway Reserve Match

LC I beat LCL in a frayed opening day on Satu day with Ket of youngsters in the division proving tougher than expected. Jock Lyons opened the scoring for LCS after 20 minutes as the teams failed to settle into cohesive play with a muggy winter backdrop and light wind. The visitors added two good goals though one may have been offside, and half time left the score level. Lack of team practice and cohesion hindered effort in the second half, and LC I must balance the side for a tougher match against Moreland next Saturday at Campbell Reserve Coburg at 2.45 pm with a 3 pm kick-off.
