In St Alban’s St Albans and nearby parish, morning and evening services are posted. The Rev F Lousada and Rev R F Adams officiate at St Mark's with Matins and Evensong led by Mr J Shilton. Sunday School led by Rev F Sadler.

First Aboriginal Pageant staged in Australia to run a week from Saturday night 24th inst at Wirths Olympia. Each performance features a native corroboree with gum leaf band boomerang throwing fire fighting demonstration and other tribal acts. Matinees Monday Labour Day and Wednesday Saturday afternoons. The Shire Engineer proposed dropping Esplanade Maribyrnong from urgent resurfacing to favor other streets. Dr Barrett led opposition noting no work in lower Maribyrnong last year and Esplanade long on estimates. He argued Newstead Street Northumberland Road Westmoreland Road and Hampshire Crescent could be in next year's plan.
