Sunshine Old Boys Form Free Help Committee
The Old Boys club formed a Free Help Committee to assist the aged and incapacitated with home chores such as wood cutting and gardening. In charge are E Runcell H Krause and Hirkins. New members admitted include A Boyd A Johnston H Dempster A E Brown. The postponed Ladies Theatre Night will be held at the Roxy Theatre next Thursday with supper and music to follow.

Band Plans Picnic and Anzac Day March Schedule
Arrangements for the picnic are complete with buses leaving Sunshine Post Office at 9 15 a.m. A weather hall is booked as a precaution. Next weekend the Band will attend Anzac Day events and the Commemoration Service by the local RSL. On Monday Eight Hours Day the Band will lead the Sheet Metal Workers Union procession.

A two year link between St Mark's Sunshine and St Peter's Ballarat CEMS and Cricket Club strengthened as 27 Ballarat visitors joined about as many Sunshine locals for a day of cricket, lunch, and a Dandenongs tour. Parish hosts arranged entertainment, catering, and transport with Rev E S Yee delivering the closing sermon at St Mark's.
