Engineers get Degrees at Melbourne University ceremony
Degrees were conferred on two local engineers at Melbourne University last Saturday. Tan Lee 21 son of Mr and Mrs BR Lee Hut chinson Sunshine earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with honors while Ken Dobson son of ex-Cr and Mrs G E Dobson Maidstone earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Both held Diplomas of Mechanical Engineering from Footscray Technical School. Jan Lee has had a brilliant scholastic career, was dux at multiple schools and is researching for a Master’s degree. Ken Dobson discharged from the navy before starting his engineering studies and has moved to a new home in Madden Street Maidstone.
