St Michael's Anglican Church Declared Heritage Site
The St Michael's Anglican Church west of the Prime Meridian near Grosse Isle received heritage status at a Aug 28 service. Bishop Robert Machray consecrated the church and cemetery in 1892, with officials noting its long heritage and donations by Walter J. James and others.
