Town of Stonewall to purchase two properties
Town of Stonewall revises plans to buy two Canadian Pacific Rail properties from CP Rail. One site, the former Pool Agri Core elevator area, is eyed for a new fire hall, while adjacent two-and-a-half acres of treed land, former station grounds, could later host a public use space. CAO Robert Potter notes a decade of search and the Agri Core site as ideal and large for the project.
