Escapee Randy Flatfoot Nabbed in Winnipeg Case
Stonewall RCMP reported on Tuesday June 22 that Randy Thomas Flatfoot a 24 year old who escaped from Rockwood Institution on December 31 1992 was apprehended in Winnipeg on June 21 by Stonewall RCMP and Winnipeg Police Department members He was wanted on a Canada wide arrest warrant for escaping lawful custody He had been serving 34 years for manslaughter at Stony Mountain Institute and was transferred to Rockwood in Sept 1992 prior to the escape He appeared in Winnipeg Provincial Court on June 14 charged with escaping lawful custody.

Sangster Named Sergeant in RCMP Manitoba Role
