Stonewall artist Shirley Germain featured in national calendar
Stonewall painter Shirley Germain, known for rural watercolours, has twelve works included in Portage Mutual Insurance 2005 calendar, distributed across Canada. Though she is unpaid, the exposure is valuable, with over 90,000 calendars printed and sales at Portage Mutual agencies. Germain, based in Stonewall, runs a framing business and focuses on Manitoba’s rural scenes, with original works and prints available at The Gallery on Main Street.
