Tractor collector Paul Kaschyshyn preserves Canadian antique machines
Paul Kaschyshyn from near Inwood built an operational 1909 Manitoba Universal tractor after a 15 year restoration begun in the 1970s. He owns about 160 tractors, refuses a $60,000 offer, and plans a 1929 rebuild with his son and grandson ahead of the Thresherman’s Reunion in Austin. He sources parts from auction sales, sometimes attending up to 80 auctions, and keeps the family land farming while teaching the next generation.
