Cenotaph to be replaced in Stony Mountain plan
Public works staff removed the aging cenotaph as RM of Rockwood starts a long planned project to build a new monument honoring residents. A three member committee led by Mark Hidlebaugh with Doug Mattila and Shirley Esaruk oversees the effort, echoing past veterans’ hopes to restore the memorial.
