Residents petition Sutherland Shire Council over a neat oyster shop set up on a spare roadside portion near Dover Point Ferry. They argue the stall provides a long needed convenience, causes no traffic obstruction, and should remain as is.
The 247 motorists signed a petition urging the Shire Council to remove the structure affecting the oysterman burden and instead treat the issue from a public, not local, view. They ask the matter be sent to the Minister for Works for consideration.
