Lang Leads Absentee Vote Count in NSW Election Totals
A Wednesday counting at local booths shows Lang first to report returns and finish tally with absentee votes. About 1000 absentee ballots slowed the process. Campey and deputies manage small boxes and laborious scrutiny. Johnson holds a 389 vote lead with 12,703 to 12,244, possible late absentee shift. Separate item: Rockdale wedding at Methodist Church April 6 for Lucy Astridge and Norman Rickard with formal ceremony and reception at Glenburn.
