Brian Morden sustained a six stitch cut from a bicycle accident. Lois Stefansson now heads the dietetic department at Portage la Prairie hospital. Eddie Marek enjoys a three week holiday. Community events include a United Church proceeds fundraiser, Laurie Turner's second birthday, and a Silver Tea hosted by the Ladies' Club. New families move in. local residents host visitors from Winnipeg and Toronto. Damen and Dammann trips north and to North Dakota are noted.

Tenders will be received by the undersigned for the two skating rink walls and buildings for the rink up until twelve o'clock October 1st 1955. All buildings must be removed immediately with skating rink walls moved by October 5th. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
