Otto Kunz was elected president of Beausejour Collegiale Institute at a Sept 10 meeting in the school auditorium. The vote was close with Kunz benefiting from banner campaigns. Elaine Duma and Carlist trailed. Carlist becomes vice president. Laura Bush elected secretary and Joan Wilgosh treasurer. Gordon Langton Carr fifty five longtime Winnipeg Electric Company superintendent at Seven Sisters power plant on Winnipeg River died September six in Winnipeg after a brief illness. He was born in Russell Manitoba and served with the Royal Flying Corps in World War I. Survived by widow Dorothy McIntyre and two children, funeral held September nine at A. B. Gardiner Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
