Training for Winnipeg staff. outside Winnipeg, courses through Manitoba Safety Council. Government cost around 4000 dollars if all drivers take it, offset by savings from prevented serious accidents.
Letter from campaign chair K A Ploen reports a 1972 Manitoba Heart Foundation drive in Winnipeg raised 190000 exceeding the 185000 target. Lac du Bonnet residents donated 221 to heart fund. 1973 goal set at 200000 and a challenge to reach 300000.
