School Board holds inaugural meeting
The Lac du Bonnet area school board held its first meeting on November 8 1972 at Lac du Bonnet Senior School. Trustees E J Bouvier F J Thibodeau Ina Halland Wm H Frailick Robert Gmitroski Margaret Rumak Jerome Shuster and others were sworn in and committees formed including Finance Education Transportation and Maintenance Salaries and Negotiations and Local Liaison to Beausejour Lac du Bonnet Powerview and Whitemouth. An auditor and solicitor for 1973 were appointed, minutes approved, and budget items discussed.
