Funeral for Mrs Emily St. Croix Held in Pine Falls

Mrs. Emily St. Croix aged 67 died Thursday at Pine Falls hospital after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Therese church. Born in Quebec she had lived in Pine Falls since 1928 after residing at Lac du Bonnet. Survived by four daughters and seven sons. predeceased by husband and four children. Interment in Pine Falls cemetery.

Shower for Jean Szajewski in Beausejour parish hall

Mesdames Antosh Halicki and L Szajewski hosted a shower for Jean Szajewski in St Marys Beausejour on October 29. Pink and white decorations filled the hall as Jean received gifts including a dinner set a coffee percolator and aluminum kitchen ware. About 75 guests attended and enjoyed lunch while Mr and Mrs Buttzman provided music.

Two Halloween Parties Light Up Great Falls Week

Great Falls hosted two Halloween events with Anderson Hall hosting a masquerade dance. The Silver Tone Seven provided music as prizes were awarded for costumes to both adults and children including Kenneth Texmo, Mrs W Fraser, Carl Peterson, Peggy Fensom, Donald Fertsom, and Larry Metzler.
