Beausejour residents host relatives from Helstone Winnipeg and Toronto and welcome guests from Oakland Saskatoon and Chicago. Births include a daughter to Adolph Bachman on July 16 and a daughter Farna Flora to Gustave Bachman on July 13. Joyce Sielke wins Winnipeg Beach bathing beauty contest.
Miss Marcia Leonard of Winnipeg visits her aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs E H Greteinger. Miss Bailla Genaske visits Winnipeg for two weeks. A shower for Frances Szajewski precedes her July 26 wedding to Reg Wheeler of Winnipeg. Dr and Mrs H Lippman and others spent the weekend in Kenora. Mr and Mrs M W Burns and family visited Winnipeg relatives. The Pauls and Shirley of Winnipeg spend time at Hoban's Park. Bob Mayall joins them from Hamilton. Michael Wayne had tonsils removed in St Boniface Hospital. The Hunt infant twin shows slight improvement after a week at St Boniface Hospital. A Richards returned to Winnipeg after installing two new switchboards for MTS. Bert Pulfer enjoyed holidays in Winnipeg.
Rev. John E. Huncer leads Sunday services at 11.00 am with Sunday School and Adult Bible Class. Evening service at 8.15 pm, Young Adult study at 8.15 pm, and Wednesday 7.00 pm programs including Trail Rangers mentored by Mr. C. Rempel.

Cecil Spirito, born in the United States and raised in Winnipeg connected to Pointe du Bois, departs after 39 years of community life. He worked from the Tramway Dept to the Power House as an electrician, contributed as a musician and vocalist, and enjoyed curling and painting. He married Wally Karklin in 1929 and has two sons Gordon and James.
