Lac du Bonnet Notes and Classic North Eastern Bonspiel
Mrs. W. J. Peterson hosts a Thursday gathering as Scottie Mc Pherson and Jeanne Wickman receive birthday wishes. The obituary notes the 77 year old John Campbell Shaw of Lac du Bonnet, who died February 8 in Selkirk hospital. The North Eastern Manitoba bonspiel scene features many locals, a lively banquet, and plans for March 1 ice carnival with prize events and a Canadian women champion hockey team showing at the rink.
