Castle with secret passage to caves near Edenbridge

At Chiddingstone Castle in Kent a hidden passage runs under the lake linking the caves to the cellars. The castle, part of a red brick Gothic style estate, houses Stuart relics, Mary Queen of Scots letters, Japanese rooms with samurai swords, and three Egyptian rooms. The lake hosts a large colony of house martins and stored fish, including a 13 lb 8 oz bream caught in 1945.
