Kenneth Pawlyshyn celebrated his fourth birthday on Tuesday December 2. Deepest sympathy to Kutroski family on bereavement. Mr and Mrs A Poersch of Morris Man spent a short holiday here with parents Mr and Mrs John Dubecki. Michael Janiuk mailed Springfield Leader subscription to Elma friends. Gordon Bandola of Winnipeg stayed with uncle and aunt Mr and Mrs J H Padura. R B Smorong left for Decimal Man to spend winter in bush camp. Mr and Mrs William Fydirchuk and Mr and Mrs Walter Hykaway of Garland Man holiday here with Mrs P S Kalin. Mrs P Iwanyshyn returned home from Whitemouth hospital. Walter Friesen, previously with Frank Friesen family, returned to Mc Tavish Man. John Saik visited city last week on business. Marie Noga returned to Winnipeg after summering here. Morris Ducharme left for Red Lake Ont for winter work.
Local residents hosted and visited relatives in Winnipeg Beausejour Yale Steinbach and Brantford. A baby girl Branda Gail was born to Charlie and family. A lighthearted note reports 15 rabbits spotted by Chas Fiebelkorn Jack Leimen and Louis Fiebelkorn in the neighborhood with one captured.
