Next Manitoba Legislature Likely to Revisit Unfinished Bills
The sixth session looms as Manitoba’s 23rd Legislature is reconstituted in 1949. Expect return of issues deemed settled like colored margarine and redistribution, plus persistent push by Maurice Gray’s Bill of Rights and job-related discrimination talks. Power policy looms as a key possible main issue amid renewed debates on representation and liquor law reforms.
