Funeral service was held in Mordue Bros Funeral Chapel for Sit Jreph Rembridge chief of Selkirk RCMP detachment who was killed accidentally when his cat went out of control near Whitemouth. Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery Portage la Prairie. Renshaw Funeral Chapel Beausejour handled arrangements. Born in Yorkshire England in 1909 he came to Canada in 19 year earlier and served 24 years in RCMP including Beausejour Manitoba postings. Survived by wife Alice a son Berry of Portage la Prairie and a brother Adison of St Vitai.
