Minooka football leadersBruce Miller led the Minooka Indians in scoring and rushing for the 1976 season. Miller, an all-conference pick in the Northeast, scored eight touchdowns and four two-point conversion runs for a total of 56 points.Milier gained 864 yards in 195 carries for a 4 4 average Mark Mitchell was next in rushing with 453 years in 94 carries for a 4.8 average Mitchell was also second in scoring with four touchdowns.Terry Glennon led Minooka pass receivers with 11 grabs for 185 years, a 16.8 average per catch. Lee Hull had five catches for 63 yards, a 12 6average.Quarterback Dave Bretsch attempted 45 passes and completed 15 for a 33 per rentfigure. He totaled 182 yards passing.Miller led in punt return yardage (5.3 and kickoff returns (25.5). Mitchell, named the most valuable palyer on the team and an all-conference pick, led on defense with 87 tackles and 44 assists.Steve Geiss, another allconference pick, ahd 77 tackles and 48 assists; Brad Immel, 62 tackles and 40 assists: Tim Wirtz, 30 tackles and 14 assists; Ed Norton, 35 tackles and 16 assists, and George Goldasich, 31 tackles and 16 assists.Rounding out the top 10, John Dunne had 26 tackles and 24 assists; Terry Glennon had 30 tackles and 11 assists; Wade Lloyd had 22 tackles and 18 assists Jay Ludeman had 18 tackles and 14 assists
