Gets His Chance At Long LastAfter playing five seasons in the minor professional ranks it looked as if Ray Gariepy would never get a chance to show what he could do in the National Hockey league. However, the colorful hard-hitting defenceman who spent the last three seasons with the Hershey Bears impressed Coach Lynn Patrick of Boston so much at this year’s ^training camp that he was picked to start the season with the Bruins. Patrick called him the most improved player at the camp. Although he has spent five years in the minors he is still only 25 years old. A slam-bang type of performer Gariepy should be an instant hit with Boston fans.
