more years of interesting reading.Charlene Bennett, EditorBASEBALL PARADEOn Sunday, May 31, the Posen Boys Baseball Club will open the 1964 Baseball Season for the approximately 200 local boys who have registered to play with, a parade. The parade will begm atr 1:00 p. m. from 147th and T roy Streets, proceed to McKinley Ave. and to Pirates F leld.Joining in the parade will be the Girl Scouts, Mayor Smaron and the Village Trustees, Police, Firemen, Brownies, Cadettes the ParkBoard, and the American Legion will lead the parade. Also included will be Judge Walter Dohi.Anyone wishing to enter a decorated car, float or bicycle may do so. The mother's Kitchen Band will also marchin the parade.Hot dogs and cold drinks will be sold at the field. There will be two games held on opening day. Both the Junior League and the Teen League will play at the same time.Let's see .a big turnout'for both the parade and the games ! ! !
