Hying Negro of Marquette University, and George Baling, the hurdling marvel from the UniversityWith this trio Alex Wilson. Notre Dame middle distance star and member of Canada's 1928 Olympic team, shared Individual honors of the twenty-third annual Drake relays.Brocksmith. who holds the Wes^[£ Conference indoor mile and two-mile championships, was hero of the final day of the relays by his performance in winning the two-mile run. He not only smashed the relays record for the event, but also bettered the ~0-year-old American intercollegiate mark.THE bespectled Hoosier won the event in 9:13.6. Metcalfe competed as a sophmore of Marquette University. Milwaukee. Wis.Saling clipped the relays record In the 120-yard high hurdles by skimming the barriers in 14 4 seconds.
