THS Girls Conclude Softball Season With 6-9 RecordTripoli high school girls softball team closed out season play in sectional tournament action last week dropping a 7-6 ballgame to Wst Union girle.The Tripoli girls played excellent softball and defensively were outstanding according to Dave Van Ahn, Pantherette coach.Twice in the game the locals had runners on second and third with only one out but the side was retired before they could score. Coach Van Ahn concluded his remarks saying that he felt our brand of softball has improved and that we will be considered as a strong team during the fall season.The Pantherettes closed their season with a C-win, 9-loss record.R H ETripoli 110 100 102—6 6 4West Un. 300 001 003—7 8 3
