The same teams play there today again. The victories for our team during the week stand—Thursday here with Waterloo 8 to 0; Friday at Iowa Falls with Oelwein 5 to 3 and Saturday at same place with same team 6 to 0.The Algona Giants went down in defeat last Saturday at Wesley against the Wesley team, and repeated the dose at Burt on Tuesday. Both games were hotly contested and the score keepers didn’t have to exert themselves in either game to keep track of the score. Will Salisbury pitched the Tuesday game for Burt, and the Giants were unable to connect with his twisters for enough safe hits to win the game.
