The locals defeated Denver in a 11-4 ballgame.!]Tripoli had nine hits and three errors while Denver had six hits lt;and seven errors. Winning pitch or was Glenda Matthias.1Second round tournament play was scheduled for Tuesday night at Tripoli, but was forced to postponement because of rain.Second round action will resume this (Wednesday) evening at the Tripoli ballpark as Plain-;field will meet Nashua at 7:00, and Tripoli will challenge Wap-sie Valley at 8:30.Sectional championship is slated for Thursday night at the Tripoli ballpark.
