BASKETBALL NEAR ENDPARADISE IN DISTRICT PLAY-OFFParadise School is in the Class B district play off. Their first round will he played against Krun on Friday night. The winner of the game will play Slidell Tuesday, and if necessary a third game the following Friday will determine the district champion.Paradise won nineteen games and lost six. two each to Slidell an-J Krun., one to Azle and one to Carrol.The eight man squad consists of Duane Read, Jimmy Norris,Ronnie 1 ackle, Harold Remmele,Rob Graham, Don Chambers,Glen Hughes, and Paul Milligan. Richard Horton was on the team until two weeks ago when he broke his ankle.Coach Hardy Fortenberry said Paradise' strongest point is defense.
