Corbett'# Seconds Throw Op Sponge.Special to The Washington Post.New Ycyk, Feb. 16.—Freddie Corbett, of Philadelphia, was in no shape for a contest tonight against Dave Deshler, of Boston, at the Brooklyn Beach A. C., and, consequently, after their man had stalled through the first two sessions and came out of his comer at the start of the third In bad ehpe, his seconds threw up the sponge.
