BLAINE TRAFTONBlaine Trafton, outstanding Morse High school athlete of former years and a member of the Morse basketball club which won the Western Maine Championship in 1947, is now working out with the University of Maine basketball squad. Blaine, who is 20 years old, is being tried out in the center and forward positions of the Black Bear quintet, and while an eligibility ruling may keep him out of the varsity games until the beginning of the year, Bath friends are gambling that he will be right in there with the starters before the season is long underway. A transfer from Ricker college, Trafton does not become eligible for U. of M. basketball until January.
