He let the visitors down wsth three hits, no two coming in the same inning.The Monarchs collected 15 h't* off Licgins and Black Tank. The Monarch* looked the part of champions yesterday and it seems t,hat they will give the Pittsburgh Crawfords, champions of the Eastern league, plenty of trouble in the negro world series when they meet in Pittsburgh Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the first three games of the seriesThe last part of the negro world series will be played in Monroe starting September 10 and running until one team has won four games. Returns of the games at Pittsburgh will be given at Tenth and DeSurrd streets every day starting about 2 o'clock.
