The Semis, playing their first might game, were completely outclassed, but they showed the fight ?and spirit the fans like to see.The Semi-Pros collected 7 hits -.and were led at the plate by the one -and only “Dynamite” Wickiser, the hoy who has been leading the Carey -club at the plate for several yeare. ‘'The bewhiskered boys collected 17 “hits off the ^offerings of C. Keckler nand G. Walborn, including several home runs. The public cooperated and turned out in fine shape for this game, there having been about 1,000 paid admissions. The House of David boys were led at the plate hy Jacobs who collected 5 out of 6, ■while Crows and Crestline both collected three hits, including a home run and a double.
