SHINE REED , SAYS s HER HUSBAND THREATENS HER LIFE.Following: closely upon the heels of the fight which took place yesterday noon in the Third ward park between Shine Reed and Dan Voss, Mrs. Reed this morning Bwore out a warrant for the purpose of having her husband placed under bonds to keep the peace, claiming that he has threatened to take her life. When seen this morning Reed said that on no occasion had he made any threats and in no way mistreated his wife further than to order her to leave his home on Saturday night. He claims that early Saturday night .lie saw Mrs. Reed and her sister, Miss Mildred Jones, of Delavan, Wis., who haB been visiting here, in the company of Voss and a companion and it was near 1:30o’clock Sunday morning when they returned tohis home on Iroquois street and heat once ordered her to leave the house.Reed claims to have held his temper toward the woman and in no way mistreated her and made no threats to do so.Voss has remained at home and has not tafcen a hand in the present case or preferred charges against Reed for the assault of yesterdayafternoon.At the trial, which was held at 2:30 o’clock, Magistrate Bentley placed Reed underbondsof .1iu00 to keep the peace for three months, bonds being furnished by Philip and John Schiller.
