EIGHT OF THE BEST girls’ softball teams in the city are competing in a four-day tournament that got underway in the International amphitheater last night. . . . Other games will be played Sunday, next Wednesda. and a week from Sunday. . . . Two games will be played each night at 8 o’clock with the finals on the last day of the tournament. . . . Proceeds will go towards buyinginsurance for ail organized girl softball players in the city. . . . The teams entered are the HY-DROX, MALONEYS, RAABS, MILLS. PARICIIY, ACACIA, RI-VALS and JEFFERSON PARK. . . .
