At the Noble Five mine Manager Geo B McDonald notes the Last Chance ledge crosscut reached 200 feet total after 113 feet driven in July. Last Chance tunnel No 3 drift extended 35 feet to 150 in Noble Five ground. Ore chutes measured 16 inches 12 inches and 3 feet wide with the widest assaying 174 to 426 oz silver and 11 to 17 percent lead. July shipments of 24 tons netted over $800 per ton after freight and smelter charges. smelter cheque totaled $1,928.
