Report states the Comstock Mines concentrator will be built within weeks with extension of the Silverton wagon road. Ground will be broken at once and the concentrator to be in operation before snow flies. Management is described as capable and conservative, with ore experiments supporting the mine’s prospects and planned improvements to be detailed in a future issue.
Meyers owns the property near Coffey creek. Webb, Brand, and Tin ling from Silverton have returned from the claims. Six open cuts and a 40 foot tunnel yield iron values from 200 to 16.7 and silver and gold from 4 to 7 dollars per ton. Pay streak six inches wide, twenty tons mined. Five miles of meadow access, seeking government aid to cut a trail to the property for better transport.

A Thursday evening concert by the English Church young people in New Denver drew a strong crowd. The program featured an instrumental troupe and a notable song by C. Smitheringale and performances by local talent including Mrs. Small and Misa Brandon of Silvertin. Dancers filled the floor after the show, with receipts aiding the church building fund.

Commencing on Wednesday June let services will be held every alternate Wednesday evening in Union Church Silverton by Rev C F Yates Episcopalian minister. Service will be held Sunday next at 3 pm in Silverton Church with Rev R N Powell. Also Karl's Clover Root Tea advertised for constipation at Silverton Drug Store.
