Canadian siblings rise in Australian hockey ranks
Thomas and Lindsey Kiliwnik, siblings born in Canada with dual citizenship, have moved to Australia with their family and now excel in hockey. Thomas, 15, earned an invite to an international training camp in Finland with the U15 squad, while 12-year-old Lindsey, on the U18 girls team, trained in Denmark. Their father Terry coaches and their mother Bronwyn brings field hockey background as they advance toward potential professional levels. Sister Pasloski departs Russell care home for monastery life.

Manitoba files zero deductible option for vandalism autos
Manitobans with Autopac Extension deductibles of 100 or 200 will see vandalism losses covered with no deductible after an amendment to the Automobile Insurance Coverage Regulation. The change, effective March 1 2016 or later, affects about 75 percent of MPI customers with those deductibles, with a small premium impact of 3 to 5 dollars annually. The average vandalism claim runs about 1300 dollars.
