Russell hosts the 10th Annual Beef and Barley Days with a family friendly lineup. Activities run Wednesday through Monday including square dancing, live music by Ronnie Hawkins, a volley ball tournament, Queen Contest, cash bonspiel with $1000 top prize, tours at CSP Foods canola plant, disco, bingo, a media trophy on main street, tug of war, cribbage tournament, cattlemen’s round up, Barley competition, pancake breakfast, and a Sunday RCMP Band concert at Memorial Arena.
