The Knox Church ACTS opening session drew a disappointing crowd though a special effort aimed to leave all men present. Guest speaker Mr. Bob Prime, former Yorkton District Council vice president, gave an informative talk on ACTS value for individuals, church, nation, and world. R. G. Teachers To Convene At Russell Next Week
The Western Marquette Teachers Association will hold sessions Thursday and Friday October 4 and 8 in Russell Collegiate auditorium. Russell Film Council Names Officers In September Meeting
The Russell Film Council met September 19 at the new school. Miss Hay from the University of Manitoba presented film options and Mr. McLeod from the provincial film board attended to answer questions. Delegates from Enderby, Silverton, Bright Side and Russell were present. A temporary slate was set with Partridge as president L Leifer as custodian and Mrs J Silver as secretary treasurer. The 1956 projector usage fee was fixed at 5.00 for organizations.
