Benefit Draws Community Support for Leukemia Stricken Boy
About 700 people gathered in Russell last weekend to support four year old Kian Baskerville as he fights leukemia. The event raised $10,000 and highlighted a possible bone marrow donor match. Kian will undergo intensive chemotherapy, a transfusion, and a transplant after pre-transplant workups.
