St Cuthbert’s Shellmouth announces a Harvest Festival next Sunday at 11 o'clock with special music and missions offerings. Confirmation Class is next Saturday at 8 15 p.m. and the Lord Bishop of London will visit for Confirmation on Sunday October 18.
The Holy Trinity Harrowby festival will be held next Sunday at 3 o clock in the afternoon with music by the Russell choir. All are welcome and the offering will support Home and Foreign Missions.

Harvest Thanksgiving Service at Shellmouth United Church Sunday September 20 at 7 39 pm with special music all invited.

Specialist John J. Arkle on light testing and fitting of glasses will visit the office of Dr. F B Smythe in Inglis on Tuesday September 22.

The Russell School lists senior grade heads Hedrick Peddie Eileen Wilson Agnes Thom Ruth De La Mare Annie Rutar Burgess Millar Rita Bell Maggie Mosoronchen Archie Bridges. The Northwestern Teacher's Association annual convention will be held October 8 and 9 at Russell.
The Russell Agricultural Society received a very attractive list prepared by Frank Skinner of Dropmore. Garden lovers are urged to obtain it and an account of the work will be given next week.
