Pistons seen as title contenders in MJHL season
The Steinbach Pistons, runners up in last season’s MJHL final, boast returning stars such as Dan Taillefer, Tyler Penner, Denis Bose, Hayden Goderis, James Shearer, and Ryan Carlson plus rising local talents Scott Petkau and Bailey Funk. The league switches to one division, aiding top teams to advance. Off the ice, trades reshuffle lists with Tanner Koroscil and Quinn Munro moving to Swan Valley while Thomas Mansbridge joins Winkler. Scholarships totaling 2250 dollars were awarded to Wasylak Sigurdson and Woods for postsecondary study.
